Battlefiel 4 was banned in China for national security

The fourth part of the series of games first person shooter Battlefield has been banned in China "for reasons of national security" as it recreates a story in which a Chinese military concocts a conspiracy against the Chinese government.

The game, developed by Electronic Arts (EA) and released in October, can not be sold in the Chinese market, nor those associated with it, according to a statement from the Ministry of Culture of products today that echoed the Chinese Web Arcade PCgames.com.cn.

Battlefield 4 is set in 2020, when a senior military official, Admiral Chang, planning a coup against the Chinese government, supported by Russia and also putting Beijing on the brink of war with the United States.
